Here Are The 100 Most Powerful People In The Music Biz

Billboard has released the 2012 Power 100 list, which ranks the 100 most powerful people in the music industry, and it reveals that times are changing!

No longer are the record labels in control, instead power is shifting to the artists, their managers, and the people who book them.

One top entertainment attorney who was consulted to create the list said:

"Ultimately the artists are in control. So whoever most influences the artist has the power. But the label role has diminished as they no longer can provide the established artists with as much cash as they used to."

Jay-Z, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, U2, Jon Bon Jovi and Lady Gaga are the 6 artists on the list, while there were just 21 record labels executives, but 23 managers and 10 television and movie executives. The rest of the names come from radio, music publishing, digital service providers, branding companies, trade groups, lawyers and even 2 venture capitalists.

Perez Hilton isn't there yet, but give us a couple more years! LOLz!

Seal’s Last TV Interview About The Heidi Split

Stop making us sad!

Seal has been doing lots of TV interviews to promote his upcoming album, and, of course, answer questions about his "poorly" timed split from Heidi Klum.

Earlier today Seal stopped by Access Hollywood to make, what he said is his last scheduled TV interview.

This time, the singer made no mention of getting back together with his estranged wife.

This time he blamed their busy celebrity lives for separating their lives. Seal explained that:

"when you decide to be globally known, you've got to service the globe. You just grow apart. It is what it is."

Seal says the idea of "staying together because of the kids" is completely backwards. He says unhappy parents bad for kiddies cause:

"Kids are a lot smarter than you think they are. If there is any disconnect they pick up on it."

In fact, Seal thinks the break from Heidi may help him have a closer to relationship with his children. He plans to spend more quality time with his kids in the near future, you know, now that he's done with the media tour for his devoice album.

We wish the family -- especially their four kids -- the best of luck in this tough time!

Adam Brody Steps Out As Porn Star On Lovelace Set!

Demi Moore Believed To Have Been Smoking K2 Spice Before The Seizure!

OMG this is Demi Moore!! Why do we keep learning about her allegedly doing that only drugs young people do in their garage!?!

First it was WhipIts... then Adderall and Red Bull... but now we've learned she was smoking something too!

The 911 caller described it as "similar to incense." And with that piece of info and all the other clues out there, Dr. Phil Dembo believes the drug Demi may have been smoking was K2 Spice.

We know what most of U are thinking... what the hell is K2 Spice??

Apparently it's a legal herb spiked with all sorts of drugs!! No, we don't know how it's legal and pot isn't.... Actually, it might have to do with the fact that you're only supposed to burn it and not smoke it, but we're guessing Demi didn't read the instructions...

But Dr. Dembo explains the effects if smoked:

It sounds like Demi smoked K2 Spice. The problem with synthetics of any kind is they can cause anxiety or depression and cause panic or hyperventilation type of experience. There is racing of your body and those things chemically take you over.

These synthetic cannabinoids have been associated with impaired driving incidents, attempted suicides, and emergency department visits, and have been linked to such adverse effects as increased anxiety, panic attacks, heart palpitations, respiratory complications, aggression, mood swings, altered perception, and paranoia.

One of the things whenever you smoke not a grown substance, you are at the mercy of whatever chemicals are in there. It could be laced with something that could have the opposite effect of what you think it will.

Sounds totally gross!!

Again, we wonder why Demi would ever want to do drugs that sound like a juvenile escape route... is it because she has issues with her age? Is she trying to be as young as possible??

This is all just so sad. We really hope she realizes how awesome she is without the drama and drugs!
